ISRO TO LAUNCH COMMUNICATION SATELLITE:
- ISRO launched a communication satellite CMS-01.
- Launching Vehicle: PSLV-C50.
- Launching site: Satish Dhawan Space centre.
- #Will replace the aged satellite - GSAT-12.
- Life expectancy: 7 years.
- CMS-01 is the 42nd Communication satellite by ISRO.
#PURPOSE OF COMMUNICATION SATELLITE:
- To provide extended C band frequency of spectrum mainly in areas like Indian mainland, Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshwadeep Islands.
COVAXIN PHASE 1:
- The Covaxin Phase 1 result shows that, there were secondary outcomes of immunogenicity based on the anti-IgGs1, which is detected with the ELISA(Enzyme linked immunosorbent essay).
- This was well tolerated in all dosage and produces "robust immune response".
- Covaxin vaccine being developed by : Hyderabad based Bharat Biotech with ICMR.
- They have been made trial with three different formulation of BBV152, which resulted in "robust immune response".
#WHAT IS BBV152?
- BBV152 is an inactive virus based COVID -19 vaccine.(being developed by Bharat Biotech with ICMR).
