BABUR MASJID:

HISTORY:
- In 1528 A.D, Babur came to Ayodhya and halted for a week there. He was inspired by a site location of the place and built a Mosque(Still called Babur masjid/mosque) by destroying the Ancient Hindu Temple.
- The Mosque was built by General Mir Baqi in 1528-29 on the order of Mughal emperor Babur.

` SUPREME COURT'S JUDGMENT:
Supreme court cleared the way to construction of a Ram Temple at the disputed site at Ayodhya, Directed the center and allotted 5Acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque.
